Beth-El Center: Shelter and support services for those in need.

Beth-El Center currently serves single men and women as well as families with children. This includes people working through job loss, illness, catastrophic events, addictions and emotional problems. The Beth-El Center Soup Kitchen consistently provides nutritious lunches – Monday through Friday – to residents as well as community members in need.

In Today's Troubled Economy, homeless services must include the provision of shelter for the "spirit" as well as the body.  Homelessness is no longer confined to single parents with children, those with addictive habits and emotional problems or older adults caught up in a cycle of homelessness. The startling fact is that ANYONE can become a victim of the homelss epidemic that is rapidly spreading throughout the couuntry. Unemployment, foreclosures, loss of retirement accounts and the like have forced many out of their homes and into alternate living situations.

Entire families have become disconnected from their support structure of neighborhood, job, family, church and school, which we can no longer take for granted.  Beth-El Center is addressing these needs by serving as the temporary support needed to help empower people to achieve or regain independent living.

The Center provides
Shelter,  Meals, Case Management and Supportive Housing to those who are in need, to help sustain and improve their quality of living. Encouragement to those who are weary, allowing them to attain some measure of emotional and spiritual well-being. Resources to those who are lost, giving direction which may help  to enhance life & job skills.

Our caring, dedicated staff srtrive daily to help these individuals as they work toward their goal of a better life for themselves and their children.
