Beth-El: A Haven for the Homeless and Hungry
Beth-El Center currently serves single men and women as well as families with children. This includes people working through job loss, illness, catastrophic events, addictions and emotional problems. The Beth-El Center Soup Kitchen consistently provides nutritious lunches – Monday through Friday – to residents as well as community members in need.

In Today's World, homeless services must include the provision of shelter for the "spirit" as well as the body.  Those who are homeless are most likely to be single parents with children who have fallen through social safety nets, men and women in the twenties and thirties with addictive habits and emotional problems, or older adults caught up in a cycle of homelessness.

There are entire families who have become disconnected from their support structure of neighborhood, job, family, church and school, that we take for granted.  Beth-El Center is addressing these needs by assisting residents in achieving or regaining independent living.

Our Center provides the support residents need to improve life skills and allow them to attain some measure of emotional and spiritual well-being.  The caring, dedicated staff help to encourage and empower these individuals to work toward their goal of a better life for themselves and their children.
