Nicole and her four young children came to the Beth-El Center when she had nowhere to turn. After their stay with Nicole's mother came to a contentious ending combined with her struggle with chronic, debilitating illnesses, Nicole and her children were homeless.
Unable to work because of her anemia, heart problems and PTSD, the Beth-El Center helped Nicole improve her health by giving her access to healthcare resources. Her case manager assisted Nicole in her application for disability income and the Beth El Center housing specialist helped Nicole find her family's new permanent home.
The needs of struggling individuals and families continues to grow
Please partner with us in aiding the people who occupy our 34 bed shelter and eat daily meals at our soup kitchen. There are many more people like Nicole and her children that need Beth-El's assistance.
With compassionate friends like you, Beth-El Center can continue to help struggling individuals and families regain their dignity and hope and become self-sufficient.
Help us win the fight to end homelessness and hunger.
