The Beth-El Center provides warmth, food and shelter for those in need each night when the temperature drops below 32 degrees during the winter months. This is a crucial support and is seen literally as a life saving program in the community.
As of Tuesday, December 1st, 2020, our No Freeze Shelter program is operating in partnership with Motel 6. This partnership allows us to provide safe spaces for guests to be out of transitional congregate shelters and dangerous winter elements. Walk-in beds are available on a case-by-case bases with the individual arriving to Motel 6 (111 Schoohouse Rd Milford, CT) only between 9pm-10pm nightly.
This program is ONLY for individuals. All homeless families should contact 2-1-1 for emergency placement and emergency shelter support.
As always, if you are planning to refer someone to our No Freeze program, please try to let us know ahead of time to ensure we have the capacity. We will adjust as needed to best respond to the unsheltered and Emergency Cold Weather Protocol needs as issued by Governor Lamont.
Please call 203.876.0747 between 8:00am-4:00pm Monday-Friday or e-mail email@example.com with any questions you may have.
